I began my career in Interventional Radiology, where I performed over 20,000 ultrasoundguided procedures — everything from central line placements to liver biopsies. This experience taught me the value of seeing beneath the surface and the precision it brings to every procedure.
As the APP Director for SDI Radiology, I trained and mentored countless providers, developing onboarding programs that helped new clinicians build confidence and skill. Today, I bring that same approach to aesthetics, teaching injectors how to integrate ultrasound into their practice for safer, more accurate outcomes.
Ultrasound allows me to see existing filler, guide placement in real time, and avoid vessels that could cause complications. It transforms not just the safety of treatments, but the artistry — letting us create beautiful results with confidence.

I went to Laura Osterweil to dissolve and soften my medial cheek filler and nasolabial filler I got done at another facility. I specifically choose her because of her extensive knowledge and use of the ultrasound device for a more accurate, precise dissolving process. I did a lot of research, and she is one of very few injectors in Tampa that actually knows how to competently utilize an ultrasound machine to dissolve filler. I was so impressed by how she pinpointed exactly where my old filler was and how carefully she planned the injections. She really took the time to listen to my concerns and was incredibly kind throughout. I am so happy with how my results turned out. If you’re thinking about dissolving filler, Laura is the one to go to!

And I was a sun worshiper most of my life and I smoked a pack a day until 2018. So go figure. But I do miss Quaaludes, they do wonders for the complexion.
